Air, “Premiers Symptomes”. Ok I’ll admit it... I’m such a nerd that yes while playing #vinyl.. I cue up the same album in Roon and have either the #album cover on the screen or the album description/write up page on the screen. Apparently having the actual sleeve prominently displayed on the table isn’t enough. I digress. I bought this originally on cd, even in my neck of the woods this cd was somewhat of a rare find. Not naming names or anything but that cd, that I loved so much, broke one of the rules and... I actually loaned it out... that cd now lives in Los Angeles. It’s all good though, it’s not like I distinctly recall all this or anything. I digress... again... So this Air album, technically... technically... it’s a compilation, but shh it doesn’t come off that way at all. Actually it’s one of my all time favorites of Air’s offerings. Originally it came out as a five song EP... and then gained two more tracks for the American Astralwerks issue. This is has #atmosphere, it’s #audiophile and can be very chill in the foreground or the background. Mostly #instrumental with few vocals.
