The little critters are on, and they are so incredibly tiny. See those tiny black rectangular transistors... Yeah those. Thankfully there are no more tiny SMD parts, the rest are all through hole. While there is a slew of projects I am working on... this one, technically is the first. A.K.A the one that got me into the whole notion of DIY audio. It’s also the most complex, and the idea of it or parts of it rather have morphed and changed. What is it? It’s a line stage designed by none other than Wayne Colburn... who designs Pass Labs preamplifiers. I’m shooting for the moon on this preamp project of mine... in every aspect, obviously sound quality, features, aesthetics... and I feel lucky to have such pcbs from Wayne inside. He generously gave them out at Burning Amp 2018, and even more generously sent me two more so I can create a balanced preamp.
